Elegant and romantic, guest rooms at Claiborne House are named for the Great Romantic poets and feature private baths with whirlpool tubs, ceiling fans, robes, hair dryers, cable TV, and for those special moments, a framed poem and book of the poet's work. An available refrigerator in the commons area offers bottled water.  Beds are made comfortable by Simmons Beauty Rest mattresses.  Claiborne House B&B is also equipped with wireless internet access.

The Yeats Room

The William Butler Yeats Room, upstairs in the main house, graciously sized, is furnished with Eastlake antiques and a converted Victorian dresser as the sink. The shower and water closet are in a private room.  The king size bed has a padded tapestry headboard. Textures and colors would have made the poet comfortable.

The Tennyson Room

The Alfred Lord Tennyson Room, upstairs in the main house, is furnished with a queen size Victorian iron bed. It has been decorated in a black and white toile with accents of red. A footed tub and sink in the room and a private water closet comprise the bathroom facilities. The coordinated wallpaper and fabrics might have graced an English country manor in the poet's time.

The Wilde Room

Reminiscent of the poet's London garret quarters, the Oscar Wilde Room is decorated in warm earth tones with steel blue and accents of deep red. A four poster queen size bed invites you to snuggle up and laze the day away.  A Jacuzzi tub for two which sits in the room makes this room a favorite for romantic getaways. There is a private half bath.  Mahogany antiques accent this elegant room with its lovely view overlooking the garden areas. Wilde is located upstairs in the main house.

The Emily Dickinson Room is upstairs in the Carriage House.  This newly redecorated room features a warm sage green color and is complemented by brocade bed coverings.  A king size bed and half canopy, mahogany antique dresser, three comfortable chairs and a shower in the private bath complete this romantic room which Emily Dickinson would not have wanted to leave.

The Keats Room

This luxurious room is decorated in a deep wine color with cream accents (like the Italian villas the poet loved) and has a padded king size headboard.
